TAXI DRIVER AGAIN SINGLEMarriage 7 o Estelle Barnett A nnuled Saturday.AFTER having three wives in tlie last three years, Frank Ardovino, El Paso taxi driver, was single again Saturday.Judge I*. R. Price of 41st district court annulled Ardovino’s marriage to Estelle Barnett on the grounds that Mrs. Barnett was not divorced from another husband, Dike Barnett, At the time she married Ardovino in Las Cruces February ‘28, 1927.Granted Divorce.In September, 192(5, Mrs. Mabel Ardovino was granted a divorce from Ardovino on the grounds of cruel treatment.Five months later he married Mrs. Barnett.Claiming that lie was under the impression that Mrs. Barnett, who was in California, had secured a divorce from him, Ardovino married Mrs. Cleola Ardovino in Doming, N. M., in February, 1928.Learning that Mrs. Barnett had not divorced him, Ardovino secured j an annulment of his marriage to1 Mrs. Cleola Ardovino in July, 1928, on the grounds that fie was already married when he married her.Filed Charges.Mrs. Barnett recently filed chargesin the county court at law in which she alleged Ardovino illegally lived with her while she had another husband and he had another wife.Last month Mrs. Barnett attempted to have her marriage to Barnett annulled, but Judge Ballard Cold-well of (55th district court denied the decree when she testified she was 17 years old at the time of the marriage, but that she married Barnett with the consent of her parents.Seeks DivorceHarris S. Bernhardt filed suit for divorce in 34th district court Saturday against Margaret F. Bernhardt.
