Owings, who wan arrested by pfflcer Hinkins and Gordon on the charge of' operating his, automobile while under the influonoe of liquor, was arraigned before Magistrate Robert Worsley, in Polico Court this morning, and fined $10Q^with $18. 30sts. Owings was also sentenced to serve thirty days in jail, but the jail sentence was suspended pending .his good behavior. His right to operate an automobile was revoked for a period of one year. ,Samuel Bannister, a colored man who was arrested by Officer Guth^ ridge, charged with being drunk, was fined $5 and $2. costs. . •
