MRS. MARTHA ROBERTS DIED FRIDAY ACED 83 YEARS; WAS COUNTY PIONEERMartha B. Dille was born in: Valparaiso, Indiana, January 3, j 1833, and died at the home of her son, Lawson, near Cantril Frida?\ June 23, 1916, being 83 years, 5 months and 20 days old; at the time of her death. jShe came with her parents to Van Buren county in 1846, and has made her home here until j the Master called her to that | Heavenly Home.She was married to E. H, Roberts October, 1853; he died August 20, 1870. To this union was born five children, three girls and two boys: Imelda Boyd, de-ceased; Lois Shibley, Green City, | Missouri: John E. Roberts, Page, Nebraska; Martha Ellis, Cheyenne Wells, Colorado; and Law-' son Roberts of Cantril, Iowa.She united with the Methodist Protestant church when she was a young girl and remained faithful to the end.She leaves besides her four children, one sister, seven grand-1 children, two great-grandchild-1 ren and a host of friends.The funeral services were held from the house Sunday morning | conducted by Rev. W. I. N. I Densmore. Interment was made at the Hoskins cemetery.
