Miss Celia Lucas, of Branch ville, was at St. Croix last Satur day. Mrs. Charles Rint and son, Al bert, were in St. Croix last Friday shopping. Mrs. Faulkenburg, of Pla quimin, passed through the valley last Saturday. Uncle Grayson Faulkenburg saves he will soon have roasting ears if the groundhogs don't beat him to them. Robert and Gilbert Lucas spent Sunday with their cousin, Loretta Judge. Several from here went to the ball came at Doolittle Mill last Sunday. Miss Lucy Bovinet is visiting her uncle, Emery Bovinet, at West Fork. Willie Velcein, of Louisville, passed through the valley last week going to visit his mother and uncle near Branchville. Larde Galey passed through here Monday enroute to Eckerly. Misses Lucella and Grace Rint and brother called at the home of Nick Lucax Saturday night. Lawrence Clutinger, of Bear Hollow, attended church at Mt. Croix on Sunday last. Mrs. Mary Perrot and children spent Sunday evening with Ella Lakas. All one can hear now is the hum of the binder. Farmers are about three, cutting clover and the clo ver that escaped the freeze of Last Winter is wood and clean—no weeds at all. Blue Bell.
