Don't let the day pass by with out at least pausing in your onward march long enough to consider your bearings, contemplate our rich gov ernmental inheritance, what it cost our fore-fathers to secure it, the God given principles that brought us into being nationally, the importance of keeping those principles sacred today. Consider our national progress, the glories of the past, the greatness of the present, and the possibilities of the future. Determine to rid our great country, by your vote and voice, with the guiding hand of our Great Jeho vah, of any and all evil tendencies that may be rising to check our onward march. It will also be a tiring time to take a personal survey. See what gains you have made since last Fourth. It will be a good day to rest.at work, hitch up and take the good wife and little ones to the celebration, either at Paluyra, Laconia, Elizabeth, Blake's Grove, New Middletown, Hancock or any other pleasant place. It will pay you. You will more than make up the loss of the day from your work in the days that follow.
