NichoUls, Stephen M. Kicholdj, Jno. D. Nicholes, et sal., defendants and owners ot the NV of NE'4, section 7, township 3$, range 6.At this day tomes the plaintiff herein, by his attorney, before the undersigned, clerk of said court in vacation, and hies hi» petition and aih-d.ivlt staling among other things that the above named defendants are non residents of the SUtc of Missouri, so that the ortliuary process of law cannot he mtvcd upon them. Whereupon it m ordered b the clerk that said defendant be n»-tifled by publication that plaintiff has coin me u-ced a suit against them In this court the general nature and object of which is to collect the taxes due and unpaid on the aforesaid real estate situated in Phelps county, Mo., and to enforce the lien of the State of Mi**otn i thereon, and that unless they lie and appear at the next regu-lar term of said court to be be^un and helu at Kolia in said county, outlieFirst Monday in August, JS^O.and on or before the sixth day of *»aid term, and plead answer or demur tothculai n tiff's petition thr-same will he taken as confessed and a judgment rendered accordingly.
