This day the Bill for the preferring all fuch Ships and Goods thereof which fhall happen to be1 forced orf Shore, or Stranded upon the Coafts of this Kingdom, or any other her Majefty’s Dominions; and the Bill for providing a publick Reward for fuch Perfon or Perfons as (hall difcover the Longitude ; were federally read the fecond time, and committed. The Committee on the Supply came tofeveral Refolutions for granting to her* Majefty for the Term of Thirty two Years, feveral Additional Duties, on Coals, Parchment, Vellum, and Stamp’d Paper and Parchment, Soap made in Great Britain, Foreign Soap, Paper, Pafte-boards, Milboardsand Scaleboards, and on Printed, Painted and Stained Paper; and upon fuch Imported Linnens ('excepting Lawns, Canvas, Barras and St left a Neckcloths) and upon fuch Silks, Callicoes, Linnens and Stuffs to be Printed, Painted, Stained or Dved in Great Britain, and on Foreign Starch, or Starch made in Great Britain ; and the fame were read and agreed to, and a Bill was ordered to be brought in accordingly.
