thtiy got to explore and touch sea creatures and plant life in the tide pools, and learn about seals and their pups.We went to Point Cabrillo Lighthouse and explored Glass Beach. The kids gained independence, knowledge and a sense of accomplishment.This letter is for us to “brag” about Ms. Hogerty and all the work she puts in so that our students can have this opportunity. Not only does she teach our kids every day but she opens their minds to wonder and exploration. She puts in many extra hours so that they can have these extra learning, experiences with trfps to Fort Bragg, Sacramento and Washington,- D.C. This is also to “brag” about the wonderful support staff at Foothill Intermediate, especially Mrs. Craig. We have the best.Thank you Ms. Hogerty and Mrs. Craig. We love you.rAudrey LingenfelterBrowns ValleyThanks to Live Oak center’s loving waysI would like to tell you about a special place located in our area.My wife had Parkinson’s and dementia. When the time came to have her placed in a skilled nursing facility, I went to my doctorfor a letter of placement and he told me to wait until he had a chance to check some places out. He told me that he didn’t want to put her in just any skilled nursing facility.The doctor called me back and told me about Live Oak Manor and that they had an open bed. He wanted the best for her. My daughter and I went there to check it out for ourselves. We were greeted by the director and also met some of the CNAs and residents. We were pleasantly surprised of the warmth and loving care felt in their facility. The feeling continues even today.Two and a half years later, we were still there. Their care of my wife and family during this time was the best anyone could ever ask for. The loving care given to her by the facility and Sutter North Hospice will nOver be forgotten.My wife passed away on May 12. The special care given was always consistent in making sure that her needs, and our family’s, were met.We were truly part of the Live Oak Manor family. My wife was given the best care these past 2% years, more than we ever had imagined it would be.I have heard about angels watching over us, but I did not believe that I would ever see them with my own eyes. I want to tell you that I did. Live Oak Manor is a haven for them. Thesepeople went above and beyond j any thing that you could ever ( imagine.
