Phoenix Couple Wed In Church of ChristMiss Gracie Ellen Hutton and Leroy Allgood exchanged vows and rings in a weddingceremony in the Church of Christ in Harvey at whichDaniel Harrison officiated.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jules Hutton of 515 Belle court, Phoenix.Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Smith of 15349 Third avenue, Phoenix.Nuptial music was provided by the organist, Sonny Banks, and soloist, Debra Jones. Wedding selections included “We've Only Just Begun” and “Never Walk Alone.”GIVEN IN marriage by her father, the bride wore a traditional gown of ivory designed with a high neckline, empire waistline and flared skirt. The bodice featured a yoke-effect of chiffon bordered in a pink trim. The leg-o-mutton sleeves were also of the chiffon.Her cathedral length veil was secured to a cap trimmed withpink flowers. She carried a bouquet of phalaenopsis orchids centered with pink carnations.DeAnnc Smith and Tresie Mosley were the flower girls. King bearers were Thurston Smith and Kimberly Davis.THE BRIDE'S attendants were attired in rainbow colors. Gloria Smith, sister of the bridegroom, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids included the bride’s sister, LaVennie Hutton, the bridegroom’s sister-in-law, Mrs. Barbara Smith, Linda Mosley, Rosa Gooley, Edna Rattleff and Barbara Kensey.Ted Hutton, brother of the bride, served as best man. Groomsmen included the bridegroom’s brothers, William and Claude Allgood and Andrew Smith, Brandy Turner. Alfred/Brown and Gray Daniel.Guests were seated by Patricia Rattleff, Faye McMillien, Wayne Sidberrv, Nettie Rattleff and Emma Jean Kensey.FOLLOWING the ceremony, a reception for some 150 guests was held at Talk of the Town in Phoenix after which the newlyweds left for a wedding trip to Cleveland, Miss.They are now at home in Phoenix where the bridegroom is a member of the Phoenix Police force. Both he and his bride are graduates of Thornton Township high school. Mr. Allgood also served a tour of fluty with the U.S. Army.
