' McKinley St. j \The dairy was founded in Jan*; • uary 1922 by Stanley Wilson, lie ■' had operated a milk route tor • some years before that. ^Today Dairy Brand has expanded to serve parts of Illinois, • Indiana, Missouri, Kentucky j{ and Tennessee. ! tAnnual sales of the milk, ice’1 cream, and cottage cheese pro- i duccd at the two plants total J over six million dollars. Annual milk production is over 56 mil-11 lion pounds of fluid milk. jThe company has two plants, | one in Harrisburg and another, in Mayfield, Kentucky. The liar-: risburg plant produces all the I cheese and ice cream and houses the main offices and a res- i taurant.The building in Harrisburg was completed in 1947 and has expanded through most of the block in which it is located. The operation here employs lot men and utilizes the most mo-dern and sanitary processing and packing methods.Wilson’s sons, Stanley Jr.. and John Crawford, are active in the management. ;
