back door of the house and left by way of the front gate. The gabardine coat located by the dog had stolen articles from the store in the pockets. Investigators were able to locate substantial proof of who was wearing the coat the night of the robbery and the dogcould link the coat with the store, along with the evidence in the pockets. As a result, the suspect was charged and has been sent up to supreme court for hearing. The dog’s evidence in this case was accepted by the provincial magistrate.
