AUBURN, June 27.—Dead inter rupted the midnight automobile ride of six young Auburn people a few minutes after 12 A. M. today when a sedan driven by one of them, thrown into a skid when it sideswiped another machine, hurt led for more than 300 feet down the road, crashed into a tree, and stood on end hurtling its occu pants in all directions. Two of the persons in the car were killed and four injured, one so badly that he is said to be dy ing. The dead are: Miss Emily Kelley, 19, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick M. Kelley, of Park Place. Thomas A. Gilbert, 24, of 26 Genesee Strreet, a United States bluejacket home on furlough. The injured are: Joseph Stapleton, 25, son of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Stapleton, 158 North Street, both legs and both arms broken and one lung punc tured. Stapleton is said by physi cians at the Auburn City Hospi tal to be dying. Miss Jane McNally, 20, daught er of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Mc Nally, 79 Fitch avenue. Fractured arm and shoulder. Miss Isabelle Hall, 27, of 17 School Street, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Davis Hall. Injured hand. William R. May, 19, of 144 South Seward Avenue. Superficial lacera tions of the face. Miss Kelley, taken to Auburn City Hospital in a pron] car by Pa trolman C. Doyle Wenner.
