The sale was made by Geo. R. Wheeler, re*al estate dealer. 1 Ervari L. Bauer, who is a large prop- 1 erty owner in this vicinity and re- ' sides on South Center street, and ] George Hohman, of Wheeling West Virginia, who recently visited Eustis and purchased the Ferrell home on | 1 the Umatilla road, were the pur-' | chasers of the fleet of trucks and 1 equipment.The White Star Dray Line has built up a large volume of business, i in the handling of all classes of }iaul-ing and is enjoying a big business in all the adjoining communities. The line operates trucks to and from As-tor, at which point freight is deliv- lt;ered by the Clyde Line boats for distribution to Eustis, Altoona, Umatilla, Tavares, Mt. Dora, Sorrento and other points. Business concerns in those towns take advantage of the low water rates to Astor and the reasonable delivery charges of the White Star I^ine and thus receive benefit of the transportation charges and in addition are enabled to make better prices to the customers of their retail stores.Mr. Hohman, his wife, daughter and two sons will arrive in Eustis about August 1 to make this their ‘ permanent home, and later will be^ Hohman and it' H* .' unds«®| HP© * business will be enlarged by the pur-’ chase of additional trucks and equipment.
