JASON ELSTUN DEAD.Former Teacher in The ClintonSchools.A special from Hammond, Ind.,dated June 20, announces the death/of Jason Elstun, who was employed here in the city schools during the term of 1905-1906. We take the •following from the special:Jason Elstun. age twenty-six years, of Indianapolis, teacher of science in the Hammond high school, died of typhoid fever this morning in St. Margaret's Hospital, where he had been ill for three weeks. His parents were here from Indianapolis at the bedside when the end came. He graduated from Butler College in 1904: first taught school at Clinton, Ind.. later at Parker City, and came to Ham. mond in April. He had just been re-engaged by the Hammond Board of Education for another year'su Iwork. The body was sent to Indianapolis for burial. The funeral will be to-morrow at Irvington.
