He is taking a college course at Racine, Wisconsin, preparatory to taking holy orders and is looking well after his year’s work.Prof. F. If. Mr.Brennecke comes with letters from the best people of Evansville and he will no doubt give as great satisfaction here.The death of Mr.eW. II Greiner occur* red yesterday afternoon at the familyresidence on South Second street. The bereaved husband conveyed the remains to Fairtield, Green county, Ohio, where the deceased’s home had been. Mrs. Greiner was a faithful Christian woman and her mourning husband and two chil* dren have the sincerest sympathy in tbeir great loss.The boot and shoe tirm of Greiner A Paddock was this week dissolved by mu* tual consent, Mr, D. C. Greiner retiring and John Paddock continuing the busi* ness. Mr. Greiner is one of our best business men, active and enterprising, and several projects are open to his business eyes and it is to be hoped he will remain among us.
