African Mason-*.—The Crand Lodge of the African Masons of the We*t and South -wwt, met in Indianapolis during the last u*-k. On the 2'id inat,,tliej had a public pro-ccaeion, the first, perhaps, ever held in Indiana. Fourteen Lodges were represented, including those of New Orl-ans, Cincinnati, Chicago, Cleveland, Indianapolis, St Louis, Richmond, Terre Hauto, Madison, Zanesville, O , and Louisville, Ky. John Britton made a speech, and was followed by Right Worshipful Master Davies, in some very ?cnsibli* remarks. An elegant dinner was served in the Masonic Hall, and all is said to hare passed off pleasantly.
