VIRGINIA MAXWELLFuneral services will be held Sunday evening for Mrs. Virginia Maxwell, 78, of 16133 Marshfield avenue, Markham. Mrs. Maxwell died Tuesday at Ingalls Memorial hospital.Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Hammond and Prowell Funeral home, 306 East 16th street, Chicago Heights. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Greater St. John Baptist church, 16555 Wolcott avenue, Markham.Services will be held at the church at 8 p.m. with the pastor, Rev. C. L. Guyse officiating. Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Mt. Glenwood cemetery.A resident of the local area for 18 years, Mrs. Maxwell was born March 18, 1896, in Reids-ville, N.C.Mrs. Maxwell is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Sallie McAd-ene of Reidsville, Mrs. Annie Vaughn of Reidsville, Mrs. Thelma Thelps of Markham and Mrs. Peachy Odell Johnson of Chicago; and one brother, Samuel Jefferson of Los Angeles.
