Funeral Services Thursday For John Williams, 70John Williams 70, of 210 Brother-ton Location, died suddenly at his home on Monday, June 24, at 12:30p. m.He was born March 6, 1893 in Wakefield and attended the Wakefield schools. He married the former Lydia Anderson on August 30, 1922 in Wakefield. A member of the Bethany Lutheran Church. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of ithe American Legion, Geroux Po9t. He was employed for many years for the City of Wakefield. During World War II he was employed for the Alcan Highway in Greenland and was last employed at the Sunday Lake Mine until retirement.He was a member of the Church Council of the Bethany Lutheran Church and also a member of the Board of Trustees at the Grand View Hospital.Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Carlton Cook of Feleh, Mich., five sons, John of Grand Junction, Mich., ithe Rev. Rbbert Williams of Norway, George of Baltimore, Maryland. Kenneth and Richard of Cleveland, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Leo Heindl of Cleveland.Lakeside Memorial Chapel open for visitation on Wed., June 26 at 2:00 p. m. and the funeral services will be held on Thursday at the Bethany Lutheran Church at 2:00 p. m. with the Rev. Toivo Miet-•tinen officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. The remains will be taken to the Church at 11:00 a. m. Thursday.
