Mario J. Tosco, 51 Former Wakefield Resident DiedMario James Tosco, 51, Kalamazoo died Wednesday, June 19 at 10 p. m.He was born at Locano, Italy, in October 1917 and came with his parents ito Wakefield in 1920. He attended the Wakefield schools and was graduated with (the class of 1933 of Wakefield High School. He was employed for the Wakefield Iron Open Pit Mine for several years, and then served with the armed forces for five years, before moving to Kalamazoo where he was employed.Surviving are his wife, the former Donna Height of Holand, Mich.; two daughters; his mother, Mrs. Mary Tosco, a patient at the Gogebic Hospital, Wakefield; a brother, John of Wakefield; a sister, Adeline Tosco Bender of Cassopolis.The funeral was held at St. Monica Church in Kalamazoo on Saturday at 9 a. mJohn Tosco attended the funeral.Mr. and Mrs. John Tosco had returned on Monday from Kalamazoo where they visited the late Mario Tosco and family, and also visited relatives and friends in Saginaw, Detroit and Chigao.
