Joyce Carol Snyder and Airman First Class Roger Lynn Gibson were united in marriage Saturday evening at 7:00 at the Parr Mem orial Methodist Church in Koko mo. Rev. Robert Boggs Jr. offi ciated at the double ring cere mony. Parents of the couple are Mr and Mrs. Adin F. Snyder of Ko- Komo and Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Gibson of Flora. Miss Pearl Smith was organist and played a selection of wedding music. Potted mum plants decor ated the wedding scene and the pews were marked with greenery. Given in marriage by her fath er, the bride wore a floor length gown of Chantilly lace with a Sabrina neckline trimmed with aurora borealis sequins and pearls. The long sleeves ended in bridal points. The skirt fea tured a straight panel at front with side tiers of lace extending into a Chapel length train. Her veil, edged with lace, was secured with a pillbox of lace and pearls. She carried white daisies and white sweetheart roses on a white Bible, . The bride's attendants were Mrs. Dale McBee of North Caro lina, Mrs. Ronald Jones of Sharpsville, and Mrs. Jerald Fewell and Miss Vivian Hart, both of Kokomo, Miss Katherine Gibson of Flora served as Jr. bridesmaid and Miss Jamine Johnson was a flower girl. The honor attendants wore apricot colored empire waist dresses of taffeta and chiffon with chiffon panel in the back. They wore veils accented with bows and streamers on their heads and carried yellow daisies. Attending the bridegroom were Marion E. Gibson of North Caro lina, Lowell Johnson of Flora, Charles Birden of Frankfort, and James Helvie of Flora. Charles Young of Encampment, Wyom ing, served as junior groomsman and Edward Birden was the ring bearer A reception was held immedi ately following the ceremony in the basement of the church. Following their wedding trip to Southern Indiana, they will be at home at Alexandria, Louisiana. The bride is a 1968 graduate of Kokomo High School and also graduated from Huffer’s Beauty Mrs. Roger Gibson
