Baseball oldtimers — most of them residing in Wichita Falls— will gather at the Kemp Hotel Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, then following a gabfest and bar becue they will go to Spudder Park for “Oldtimers Night.” The former pro baseball play ers will be introduced to the Spudder Park crowd prior to the Big State League contest between the Spudders and Abb lene, who are involved in a tight scramble for second place. Oldtimers who can't make the 2:30 gathering at the Kemp Hotel s are requested to be at Spudder Park by 7:30 p.m. All ex-pro baseballers are urged to be present, whether they received a special invita tion or not.
