MRS. CONNELEY DEAD jMrs. J. D. Conneley died at her home in Des Moines last Friday after j a lingering illness from cancer. She i had r*.moved from the ranch west of; Capulin several in or. ha asro so as to be nearer to medical attention, j The funeral services were conducted} from the Methodist church in Dosj Moines on Saturday by Rev. J. S. i Collins and interment was made at the Mountain View cemetery.Betty Bullard was born in Tennessee November 1G, 1SG4. At the: age of 4 years she moved with In family to St. Francis county, Arkansas, and four years later to Denton county, Texas. It was here that j on November 22, 1883, she was united in marriage with J. B. Connel-ley.. To this union eight children J were born all of whom are living:' W. N. Connelley of Oklahoma; J. I., Connelley of Floydada, Texas; G. W. Connelley of Detroit, Michigan*.; E. F. Connelley of Capulin, New Mexico; H. C. Connelley of Raton ' New Mexico; Reuben Connelley of i Bayfield, Colorado; Mrs. Lura Hop-J per of Hobart, Oklahoma; Mrs. Lih ( Nunley of Los Angeles, California. IIn 1901 the Connelley family mov-: ed from Texas to Cordell, Oklahoma. Thev lived there until 1917 when i they came to New Mexico and filed j on land in Colfax county west of; ‘Capulin, which place has been their home until this time.Mrs. Connelley was a member of, the Church of the Nazarene, having' membership at Center, Oklahoma.; As there was no organization of that church in this section she had not ! placed her membership here. jMrs. Connelley was a good neigh-j bor, a good friend and above all a j good wife and mother. She is go-, ing to be missed by her neighbors and j by her family. For the past few j months she had suffered intensely, j She has.gone to her reward and her t I sufferings are over. Peace be to j i her ashes. }
