OBITUARY iWright Hotchkiss was born at Val-j Ionia, Indiana, November 14, 18G0. Died at his home south of Capulin,; New Mexico, June 1G, 1924, aged G3 years, 7 months and 2 days.He was united in marriage with Mary A. Nicholson in 1894. To this union was born four children, John S., Harry, Marie and Lois. He united with the Christian church in 1890.• IHe had been a member of the Mas-; onic lodge for 25 years. One brother survives 'him.The funeral services were held at' Mountain View church on Tuesday, June 17th, at 3 p. m. The church-was filled to overflowing and so that all might hear his message Rev. Mai- \ com stood in the doorway of the ‘ church. There were probably more on the outside than in the church building, which was filled to over-' flowing. The interment was under! auspices of Sierra Grande Lodge No. 57 of the Masonic order and this • beautiful burial service was listened ; to by a lage concourse of sorrowing friends. iWright Hotchkiss was a good nei-^ ghbor and a good friend. He is a ; man that will be missed in this com-, munity. He will be more than missed by his family as he was a kind and indulgent husband and fathter. !The editor has known Wright Hotchkiss since we came to this section. We always found him ready to believe in the good in mankind and a loyal friend. He was a pioneer at! heart as well as in reality and it is such men as Wright Iiottchkiss who have tamed the great prairies of our country and built homes in the wilderness.j All that was mortal of Wrighi Hotchkiss has gone but he is not forgotten. His memory will be kept green by countless friend in this country, who mourn him as a good friend, a good man that has gone to his reward.
