In gathering the news last week we accidently failed to mention the fact that a change had taken place in the personel of the Coast Line depot agents. Daws Walker, who has made such a good agent and was so well liked by the public in gen eral has been transferred to Lake Wales where he now is, and is giving the same satisfac tion there as here. We regret to lose him and his estimable family, but certainly wish them well and plenty of success ' B. B. Scarborough comes in from Laleland and is now in charge. We have had the pleasure of meeting this gentle man and find him a most af fable, courteous and obliging fellow and we are glad to wel come him to our midst. Mr. Scarborough intends, as soon as matters assume a defi nite shape, to bring his family over from Lakeland and as he states, “hopes to make this his ‘permanent home.” Glad_ we are to have him with us and we do indeed trust that his stay may be a long one.—The High land(Fla.) News. Mr. Scarborough recently moved to Florida from Ball Ground, selling out his Marble interest in that city, and went to Florida to take up railroad work again. Before going in to the Marble Business in Ball Ground he was connected with the railroad business. He has many friends in Cherokee coun ty who will be glad to know that he is now associated with the Atlantic Coast Line Rail road and wish him much suc cess.
