The words of free contract'’ remind me of the open shop question. We know from the past few years that the right of free contract means the employer's right to exploit every employe individually. The same flight be applied to the present question. Free contract now means that a woman not having the protection of a union will be compelled to work all hours of the night or lose her job, and when we are told that women want to work p. m. the truth is because is so miserably small that to do it in order to exist, are 2 classes of men who object to the right of suffrage for women. The 1 class is that of the professional politician, the bood-ler, who fears to lose the upper hand. The other class is that of men who have sentimental ideas of women, who think that they, the men, are the tall oaks which should protect the weaker sex from the gale.Woman’s Inequality is a myth!
