The Columbia opened Monday with one of the best bil's yet seen in that popular play house. The large audiences were delighted. Realizing that Sistersville will stand nothing but the best, the management has provided an even stronger show for next week. One of the best vaudeville teams on the road will be added to the attract ions. The special feature however will be a new comedy sketch known as “The Courtship of Caroline,” which will be presented for the first time. It has been arranged by Mr Alfred Harris, so well and favor ably known to all theatre goers in the city. It is a strong piece of comedy in which Mr. Harris is as sisted by the irrepressible Ben Tur pin. It gives an abundant oppor tunity for the rare ability and excellent baritone voice of Mr. Harris, as well as the comedian qualities of Mr. Turpin. Those who miss it on Monday night will be certain to hear of it next day and see it before the week is out.
