Music was given by the choir. Mr. Groepler gave n couple of violin solos, accompanied by Miss Sadie Randolph on the organ. Miss Sue Carter “30 Years With the Shrew.” She read very nicely. Miss Geneva VanVorst, of Cedar Run, gave a couple of recitations, which were very well rendered. She was encored. It is not often Barnegat has the pleasure of listening to an evening of such fine elocution us Miss VanVorst gave. District Supt. Rev. Dr. Bills, gave a very fine address on the Bible. At the close of the service the congregation were all invited to the lower floor where ice cream and cake were served by the good ladies of the church.A party representing a manufacturer of Infants’ wear was in town the week end prospecting for the opening of a factory, providing they can get a sufficient number of hands. They will provide plenty of work and pay good wages. Louis Abramowitz will make the necessary inquiries as to help. If they can be obtained the firm will start as soon as preparations can be made. It would be a good thing for the town and furnish iwork for all who desired it.What's the mater with the Democrat politicians? There seem to be any quantity of Republican candidates, so that the coming Primaries will be lively.
