Local Lines. —The last whist meet of the Le Bon Ton whist club was held at the home of Mrs A. Myers, Humboldt an, Rox bury, last week. The prize winners were: Mrs Gus Isaacs first, Mrs L. J. Lyons second and Mrs George Harris booby. —Mr and Mrs David Kurtz will re ceive their friends and relatives this af ternoon and evening, at their residence, 698 Massachusetts av, the occasion be ing their silver wedding. —The Utopian club will hold its regu lar meeting Friday evening, July 1. This will be its semi-annual meeting and the election of the officers will be held. The night before the Fourth and on the Fourth the club will keep open house for its members and legion of friends. —Mr and Mrs I. 8. Cohen will receive their friends and relatives at their new home, 53 Waverly st, Roxbury, this af ternoon and evening, the occasion being the celebration of their 15th wedding an niversary and a house warming. —The wedding of Miss Aster Holtz, daughter of Mr and Mrs L. Holtz and Mr Nathan Croan, will be celebrated his evening in St Rosehall, Worcester st. —The wedding reception of Miss Jen nie Masse, daughter of Mr and Mrs Isi dor Masse and Mr Nathan Sallinger, will take place at Palladio hall, Rox bury, Tuesday evening, June 28. —The marriage of Miss Bertha Drey fus and Mr Mark Abrahams will be quietly celebrated Monday noon, at the home of the bride's mother, 16 Pratt st, Allston. —Mr and Mrs J. Caro of 27 West Cote tagest, Roxbury, will celebrate the 26th anniversary of their marriage Sunday, July 3, by keeping open house. —The engagement of Miss Rosie Seel enfreund and Mr Sigmund Samuels is announced, _The engagement of Miss Esther Ja cobs and Isidor Gottesman is an nounced. They will receive their friends today at 8 Lyndeboro pl. The M. C. A. club will hold its an nual meeting next Sunday, when the officers will be elected. The officers of the bicycle section will also be selected.
