FUNERAL OF JUDGE HANNA.The funeral of the late Judge Samuel Qanna took place at Fort Wayne on Wednesday afternoon. The death of this estimable and public spirited gentleman has cast a feeling of sadness and gloom over the city, seldem equaled by a similar event in any community, and citizens justly feel tlftt they have lost one of their best friends. A public meeting of citizens was held on Tuesday evening, at which resolutions of respect and condolence were adopted, and addresses made by some of the most prominent men in the city. The city council also passed similar resolutions. Many of the buildings in the city were draped in mourning, and during the funeral obsequies business was generally suspended. The courts in adjoining counties were adjourned on account of the funeral and delegations of citizens from Huntington, Warsaw. Bluffton and other places, were in attendance. The funeral cortege was one of the largest and most imposing ever witnessed in the State. One hundred and fifty Masons took part in it, besides members of the city government, and otheis, and a large concourse of citizens, including 530 ma-chinist-s Members and friends of the family occupied eight carriages, besides which there were one hundred and sixty-five carriages and seven omnibusses in the procession. The Fort Way e Devioi'rat, of that evening appeared with its column rules inverted as a mark of respect for the deceased.—Ln Fayette, Journal.
