5 26,ion.t Co.tee for yom of at 2 A(£r The celebration of St. John’s day on Tuesday ;by the Odd Fellows andUasons at Carrollton, passed off very pleasantly, there being a great matiy persons present from this city and the various towns along the river. The procession, numbering about one hundred and seventy, headed by the Madison Brass Band, was formed at ten o’clock; and after having marched through the principal streets, proceeded to the beautiful grove in the Court-house yard, where the Rev. Mr. Adams delivered two able and eloquent addresses on the origin, progress and objects of Odd Fellowship and Masonry. The procession again formed and marched to the Eagle Hotel, where they partook of an excellent dinner, prepared for them by Mr. Dugan. ABall in the evening closed the festivities of the* day.
