This new acquisitionto East Florida, boils to be an advocate of Whig doctrines, end supports the election of Mr. Ctssu. Was the Editor a Whig, when he published a paper called the ** Florida Statesman V* If he was, it was kept pretty closely concealed. Does an Editor have to change his name whenever he chouges his politics t The M Florida Statesman was published by George Grouard, and we now perceive that the 44 Whig Banner'' is published by George M. Grouard, Jr. Is this the same man ! Yes, George Grouard, that, a few months ago, conducted a paper which pretended to support the principles of the Democratic party 1 Bat, alas it is now George M. Grouard, Jr., who it publisher, editor and proprietor of a sheet entitled the 44 Whig Banner.” The wind changes, so has Mr. Grouard changed his name and hit politico.
