B.C.ChiefHonoredMURRAY BAY, Que. (CP) — Gordon Merritt Shrum, chairman of British Columbia Hydro, has received the Electrical Man of the Year award.The award was presented at the annual meeting of the Canadian Electrical Association by G. W. Funston, publisher of Electrical News and Engineering.The publication, which makes i the award, annually, presented it to Mr. Shrum for his direction of the Peace River power project.The project, named the Gordon M. Shrum generating station, is the world’s largest underground powerhouse.Hydro
