BRISBANE, Man: The Full Bench of the Industrial Court today ad journed consideration of a challenge to its jurisdiction over a union levy to assist striking meatworkers. Walter Henry Thompson, of the Storemen and Packers’ Union, ap plied for a declaration that a levy of 2/ = week on members to aid meat strikers was illegal, and that a de claration that payment of sums to talling £ 1,250 stated to have been for payment to the Meat workers' Union was illegal and could not be recouped from such a levy. ‘The Court adjourned the hearing until Thursday to consider the ques tion of jurisdiction.
