With a population of 15,000 inhabitants, Gary now has a dramshop to every 100 people, and during the last month there were 352 arrests for drunkenness in the city. The devil has been turned loose in Gary, to debauch hercitizens, manufacture criminals, lunatics, idiots and paupers, and to corrupt the young men and destroy the home.
