A Small Roy I.nae* n |.f({~ThP Same OldStory.Joe Eastiick, a boy of fifteen, met with a terrible accident here on Saturday afternoon. In Retting: off a P. S L. E. freight train near the Shenango street crossing he fell on a rail between two trucks, the wheels passing over his leg before the train could be stopped, The leg was quickly bandaged and the boy carried on a stretcher to the otlice of Dr. Mickle In the meantime a locomotive and c,sr were ordered from the roundhouse and as soon as the leg was dressed the boy was taken to the hospital at Mercer, accompanied by Dr. Mickle who assisted the surgeon-m-charge. Dr, Weiciman, in amputating the leg below the knee. A telephone message from the lospital informs us that the boy is getting along nicely.Ths should be a terrible warning to other boys of this anil other towns, but it seems that nothing will deter the small boy from jumping on trains when the opportunity offers. This case is unusually sad as tiie boy's father is in an asylum and his mother makes a living by washing.
