When life gives you lemons, make lemonadeIn honor of “Alex’s Lemonade Stand,” founded by Alexandra “Alex” Scott, 8, who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma at age I. lemonade stands across the country were set up in support of pediatric cancer research. On June 12 several local children set up their stand on the corner of Jeniford Road and KatonaDrive. Donations Comnbu«d photosranged from $ I to $20per cup. Other sellers included Emma Connington, 6, Joey and Michelle Lapreay, 5 and 7, and mothers Mireille Bovine, Lisa Leto and Amy Connington. The group raised over $650 for the cause.
