Hertneky Receives ScholarshipWilliam G. Bill Hertneky was the recent recipient of a Central Colorado Soil Conservation District scholarship, He is the son of Mr, and Mrs. Kenneth Hertneky of R.R. 1, Ram ah.Bill graduated from Simla High School in 1974, He was an honor roll student and was Valedictorian of his Senior Class. He was also the Class Treasurer his senior year. Other activities included A nnual Staff, VICA Club and Letter-man's Club. He was vice pre- ..Sentinel RidgeHelen Enrichsident of Student Council and during his freshman class he was president of the class. He lettered in wrestling, football and baseball. He was also active in 4-H, with a Bauseh and Lamb Science Award,Bill will be a Junior at Colorado State University where he is majoring in Farm Ranch Management, At college he has been a member of the Dairy Science Club and participated in intramural wrestling and softball. He made the DeanTs list the fall and spring quarters of 1974-75 and the fall semester of 1975-76 year. He is a member of the Farm House Fraternity, His grade point average is 3. 71.Bill plans to eventually farm or dairy in Colorado.
