Mr. and Mrs. Richard Nyland, route 1, 64th St. were feted at a 40th wedding anniversary dinner at Bosch’s Restaurant in Zeeland Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. Nyland were married in Graafschap on June 20, 1925. They have lived in the Holland area since their marriage and are members of the Graafschap Christian Reformed Church. Mr. and Mrs. Nyland have four children; Roger who is married to the former Eleanor Van Doornik and living in St. Joseph, Earl at home, Mrs. Gerald Van Tubbergan of Hol land and Mrs. Harold Whipple of Stevensville. The Nylands have 11 grand children, Karen and Kathy Ny land; Bart, Brian, Tom, Phillip and Karl Van Tubbergan; David, Mike, Diane and Debra Whipple. All the children, grandchildren and Miss Dorothy Tucker of East Saugatuck were present for the celebration.
