James C. Wolford, 68, former Wellington resident, died last night after a long illness at the Veter ans hospital in Tucson, Ariz. He was born Aug. 18, 1892 and was a former Santa Fe employee. He also was a veteran of World War I. Survivors include the wife Am andalee Wolford, Wellington; one son, Raymond Wolford, Welling ton; two daughters, Shirley Brad shaw, Wellington and Charmaine Gasper, Lawrence; two sisters and one brother of Detroit, Mich., and six grandchildren. Military graveside services will be conducted by the American Le gion at 2 p.m. on Monday in Prairie Lawn cemetery. Friends may call at the De weese-Holder Funeral Home Sun day.
