Prospects are bright that Milroy will have a factory, following a meet ing of business men of Milroy in the basement of the Christian church there last night. The luncheon was attended by a number of prominent men of the Milroy community and rep resentatives of the Metal Specialties Company of Indianapolis which is planning to build the factory. C. L. Leonen, representing the Spe cialties Company, stated that they in tended to invest from $40,000 to $50, 00 in a factory at Milroy. The plan of the company is to manufacture washing machines. One of the ma chines is on display in the W. L. Mc Kee hardware store in Milroy. Albert Stump of Indianapolis was principal speaker at the luncheon. He declared that it was harmful to the industrial interests of the country to have all the factories concentrated in a few great cities and leave the small town out. He said there were ad vantages in having factories in small er communities. Mr. Hurt of Milroy was toastmaster. T. E. Allen also spoke for the Milroy business men.
