History Sketch.(C. M. Thompson)Recently there was given a birthday dinner and a reunion at the home of A. U. Thompson near Beth lehem in honor of this (food old gentleman. He was 77 years old. More than three score and ten years has he enjoyed the up* and downs and es caped well the snares that have made many a man to fall by the way side He is a staunch Methodist and has lead a creditable life. Such a oiie in many respecta worthy of emulation.He was born May 31st, 1837, near the place at which he now lives. As he traveled life's pathway he chose for a companion to share his Joys and sorrows, N. A. Chandler, daughter of Nolan Chandler. The wedding j occurred June 34, 1860. The ceremo- iEsq., at the home of Nolan ChandlerThis good woman passed to her reward February 12, 1909.Her father died July 6, 1884. Her •mother died April 8, 1889.The children born to bless the union of A. G. and N. A. C. Thompson are:Thomas N., of Winder, who wed -Fanny McEUhannon.Elizabeth, who wed J. H. Clack, of Bethlehem.Job P., who wed Susan Edwards, a daughter of Wyley Edwards.Isabella, who wed Howard Perkins, son of Judge Perkins.Alice, who wed Hiram Adarns, son •of Monroe Adams.Bertha, who wed W. \V. H. House, a son of W. H. House.Lena, who died when about grownNarcisus, Queenle and Truman died in childhood.A. G. Thompson was loyal to hiscountry. He served In the 42d Ga.under McCollum. He Joined Die Methodist church when quite youngThe whole of his life has been spent In and near Bethlehem.The father, James it. Thompson, was born In the Bethlehem section on October 13, 1811. The mother was born Sept. 26. 1815, and died at the age of 99 years on October 1913.The grandfather was David Thompson. who lived and died just across the Appalachee river from Bethlehem The only living brother of A. (■. Thompson now owns the old David Thompson place. David Thompson will Put cilia Camp, a sister of Na: -oy Camp, who wed Joe Smith, grandfather of G. W. Smith, of Winder .There was still another sister, j y Elizabeth, who wed Stroud. One i | tradition is that these three sisters j ^ were the daughters of one Thomu.-Camp and that he was buried betwei Winder nnd Bethlehem. 1 have a fai: ly good history of other Camp won! cu and mon and I wish some of you readers would lrclp me prove this Thomas Camp who wed a Lindsay, to be a son of another Thomas Camp who came from Virginia.There lived and died in Virginia in the lGth century one Tiiomus Camp.I have followed dow n to many descen -dants of Jackson, Walton and Gwin-•uett counties of today. Annie Na lt;omi Camp, who wed John Hill, was a niece of Nathan Camp, the father of the noted Camp sisters.1 wish some one would give me proof of Nancy Smith, Priscilla Thom sou and Elizabeth Stroud's relation, it any, to Annie Naomi Hill. 1 wish to know the rleatlon of those, if any, to Abner Camp and adso their relation to a Miss Camp who wed a Treadwell a
