(Continued from Page 3.) township, was approved. The petition of Henry Fabritz of Cass township, for reduction of assessment was approved for the amount of $24,.00 per acre. The reignation of H. B. Wagers, as Over seer of the Poor for Ottumwa City was approved. In the case of Vir ginia Thayer for exemption from tax on Lot 5, Bock 25, First addition to Blakesburg. Julia Carmen for exemp tion from tax on West 11 feet of Lot 4 Block 1 and East 22 feet of Lot 5, Block 1, in Original Plat of Agency City and Mrs. Phoebe Hendrickson for exemption from tax on Lots 98, 99 and 100, in Rail Road addition to Agency City. The Board of Super visors have this day instructed the County Treasurers not to collect the tax by the sale of the property until further instructions from the Board. Signed H. B. Patterson, J. W. Hall, J. R. Stodghill. The Board then proceeded as the Board of Equalization to examine the table of valuations and averages, as prepared by the County Auditor from the several town and township asses sors books for 1912. On motion the Board equalized the several Towns and Townships by adopting the valu ations as returned by the assessors of Wapello County for the year 1912. The balance of the day was spent in allowing claims. On motion the Board adourned to meet Friday, June the 14th, at 9 o’clock. Attest: J. F. Levens, County Auditor. H. B. Patterson, Chairman. Proceedings of the Board of Super visors, Friday, June the 14th, 1912, being the 5th day of the June session. The Board met pursuant to adourn ment, members all present, President H. B. Patterson, in the chair, the minutes of the previous meeting read and approved. The Consent Petition of Frank Emery, et al, praying for a change in the Public Highway in sec tion 16, township 73, range 13 was granted. The petition of C. C. Taylor for reduction of assessment was gran ted. The balance of the day was spent in allowing claims and transac ting other business.
