Eighth Grade Exercises*_fyAn audience which filled every '* available place in Turner Opera houser w^tjnessfd the graduating exercises n of the eighth grades Tuesday evening.s The program presented was inter-3 spersed with musical selections by s pupils of the class, the violin solo by:i Rachael Cooley being especially fine.Her rendition of Ballets cene by Ch. 1 de Beriot called forth favorable comment as the piece is a very difficult e one of proper execution. Miss Cooley e is a pupil of Prof. R. Hardege, who0 gave special attention to the train-t ing for the musical number referred1 to. The piano solos by Leonora Gest - and Lucile Berg wTere given a good s measure of applause which was welli deserved. T,he recitations wore all s well delivered and showed marked s ability in that direction and careful preparation and attention to detail. Goeldner The class colors, silver and gold, were used in the hall decorations while the class pennant had a conspicuous place.
