The bride, who has been Maid of Honour in Ordinary to the Queen for nearly four years, resigned tljat appointment on her marriage. Lady Mary was given away by her father, and Comte] de Marzcliere attended the bridegroom as best man. The bridesmaids were Miss Kitty Boscawen and Miss Mary Hart-Dyke, cousins of the bride, the Hon. ElsieGrosvenor, of Honour The cere:Majendie to the Queen, and Miss Meade, anony was performed by the Rev. Herbert Laughton, assisted by the Rev. Dr. Gildea. After the ceremony a reception was held at the! residence of the Earl and Countess of Normanfron, the bride’s brother-in-law andsister, 77, [Pall Mall. The Queen’s presents to Lady Mary Byng were a diamond bracelet, having the Royal and Imperial cypherin brilliants as a centre ornament, made so that it can be removed to form a brooch.At either side ribbons of diamonds and sapphires encircle the centre piece. Also an Indian shawl. The Prince and Princess of Wales presented a very handsome diamond and sapphire bracelet; the design a curb ofgold set with these jewels. Princess Victoria of Wales’s gift was a diamond birdbrooch. Princess Christian gave two little diamond how brooches, connected by a chain of pearls. | The Duke and Duchess of Connaught’s gift was a set of beautiful coffeecups, saucjers, and spoons in a case. Princess Henrv of Battenberg sent a turquoise and pearl [brooch. Princess Louise Duchess of Fife's gift was a pair of toilet bottles, set in pierced I silver and with silver tops.
