Jnly 13, 1892, in Market Hall. St. Paul. Mlnu., for the purpose of nomi-SAhDK candidates for the offices of Goveroor, Liu tenant Governor, Secretary of State, State Treasurer. Attorney General. Clerk ofthe Supreme Court, three judges of the supreme court, and nine electors of president, and transacting fuch other business as may properlycome b fore It.The said convention shall consist as follows;1. One delegate from each local fai mers alli-anot In this State. ...2. One delegate from each local labor organisation *n this state which was in existance priorto March 16. 1*92.3 One delegate from each county in the state.4 one additional delegate from each county •loreach five hundred vote* or mayor fraction thereof, cast therein for S. M. Owen for governor,**5. The delegates from the counties shall be de«'ted by county conventions to be constituted follows:a) Three delegates from each local allianoein said county.b Three del* gates from each local labor organization in said county. ... ..c) One delegate from each township in said county.d One delegate from each ward of any town or city in said county ; or in the cities of Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Duluth one delegate from ■each precinct instead of each ward.H. No proxies shall be admitted in the state convention, but the same delegate from any local aliiance oi labor organization may represent any other local alliance or labor organization in hfn county which has regularly elected him to represent it.7. The county alliances and labor organizations are authorized to elect alternates who will be empowered to act In said state convention only in case of the absence of the delegate.To facilitate the trarsactlon of business the secretary of each local alliance and labor organization and county conventions which has dec ted delegates to said state convention, is requested to send the names of the said delegates at once with name of the alliance or labor organization and the P. O. address of the delegates to the secreary of the executive committee of the peoples party of Minnesota. Louis Hanson, Sabin, Clav county, Minn. Mr. Hanson w 11 thus be able to prepare a roll cf the delegates and save much time and expense to the members of the convention. * •As funds will be very necessary to pay the expenses of the convention and carry on the campaign work of the peoples party and we have no wealthy Kings or Corporations to call upon, delegate is requested to collect contributions from the supporters of the party in his neighborhood and bring them to the convention.
