We have reached a depth of 3500 feel for that amount. 7'lie limit to which we can bond the city for is £22,600, according lo the assessment of the Stale Board of Equalisation. There Is a way to get water, even if we cannot secure it immediately through our artesian well. At about 200 feet depth water Was struck in our artesian well that would have supplied a cily of 10,000 inhabitants. It will not do to exhaust the limit of law on our artesian well blit raih-cr endeavor lo get water by other means, and we can get an abundance of water for a small sum comparatively.
