Miss Carol K. Searby of Waterman, former resident of Fairbury, and Dennis Wenger of Fairbury were married at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 1972, in St. Catholic church of Fairbury. Rev. Kolczaski officiated at the dow ceremony, assisted by Rev. George Russell the First United Methodist church Fairbury. The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Ray Searby of Waterman, former res’ Fairbury. The bridegroom is the son of and Mrs. Robert L. Wenger of Fairbury. Richard Foltz was organist and Miss Pat Foltz was soloist, both of Fairbury. The bride wore a floor-length empires gown, with bodice of Madeira daisy ff nylon over white satin. The skirt was of nylon chiffon over white satin. The featured long puffed sleeves of sheer flecked nylon. Daisy trim adorned the and waist. A cap of Madeira daisy flecked nylon satin held her illusion veil. She carried bouquet of yellow carnations, white hai and baby’s breath. The bride made her and headpiece. She wore a jade necklace, cell bridegroom. Miss Carla Battles of Sycamore was honor. She wore a floor-length gown of skylark flecked gingham, with long sleeves and empire waist. Daisy and lace was attached around the sleeves and She carried a nosegag of daisies, carnations and baby’s breath. Miss Jayne Smith of Fairbury bridesmaid. She was attired identically to maid of honor. Kevin Harms of Fairbury was best Steve Searby, DeKalb, brother of the was attendant. Jim Munz of Fairbury was usher. The bride’s mother wore a well double-knit nylon floor-length dress with sleeves, fitted waist and navy blue trim. also wore a corsage of yellow and wii carnations. The bridegroom's mother chose a green leno cotton, long-sleeved street dress with tuck pleat bib. She wore a of yellow and white carnations.
