He was thej second of a family of seven ,erp brothers and was the first one ' to pass away.About the year 1910 he was united in marriage to Lillieere j Ryr.es and to them two children at | were born, Woodrow, who passed away at the age of 8 years, and Pearl, now Mrs. Loren Adams of Cobden. Mrs. Sitter passed away January 5, 1919.On May 17, 1921 he was mar- j ried to Della Kerr, who survives him. He leaves besideshis wife and daughter, one grandson, Roy Glenn Adams; six brothers, namely: Fred of 'Anna; Lyman F. of Saratoga; tr*. j Laurel C. of Anna; Louie L. and Truman A. of Cobden and S. E. of St. Louis, Mo. i- | He was converted at an early age and united with the Suia-toga Methodist church where ho , remained a member until death.Mr. Sitter has been prominent in the work of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows of which he was a member for more than years, holding practically every appointive and elective office in the Subordinate lodge, and several Grand Lodge offices including that of District Deputy Grand Master. He was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, also serving in various offices in this Order. At the time of his death he was a member of the f ^outheim Lodge, Independent j Order of Odd (Fellows, Jonesboro, and the Cobden Rebekah Lodge. IhisWiiIisI The early part of his life was j spent in farming, later he engaged in the Fruit Brokerage j business with headquarters ini Anna.His death came suddenly and unexpectedly while on a business j errand in his home town on j Monday afternoon, June 12, 1950, at the age of 61 years,8 months and 25 days.Funeral services were conducted from the Anna Methodist church Wednesday afternoon, June 14, with Rev.
