Zimmer-man Officiating.Mr. Dugald Bergom and Miss Ger- '' trude Lenius, both of tliis city, were united in marriage Wednesday evening at S o’clock in t'r.e Lutheran church, Rev. F. Zimmerinann ofllciat- : ing. The church was prettily deeorat- : ed with flowers. The double ring ser- : vice was employed and Miss Vera 1 Lucas played the wedding march 1 while Mrs. Zimmerman sang . “He Leadeth Me” as the wedding parly ' proceeded down the central aisle.The bridesmaids were Misses Anna 1 Lenius, of Waverly, a cousin of the ! bride, and Ella Lenius, of this city, a 1 sister of the bride. The best men were John Lenius, of this city, brother of the bride, anti Amiel Burch, of Waterloo. Mrs. Peterson, of Waterloo, a sister of the bride, acted as matron of honor,The bride was* afjfrod -in white China silk with white clirystal trimming and wore a veil and carried a sliower bouquet of white carnations, The bridesmaids were attired in pink and carried pink carnations. The matron of honor wore white.There were about a hundred at the church, relatives and friends of the . high contracting parties and follow- , ing the impressive ceremony and the . congratulations there was a reception ■ at Hie home of the bride’s parents for the Immediate relatives and intimate friends, A fine four course supper was served and it was a very happy occasion. The parlors were decorated in pink and white, cut flowers and potted plants being employed. The ' young people were recipients of a large number of wedding gifts, cut glass, silver and china were predominating. Mr. and Mrs. Bergom left on the night train for Chicago to he gone a few days after which they will return to make Oelwein their ■ home.The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Lenius, who reside northwest of the city where she has resided nearly all her life. She was educated in the district school and is a young lady of pleasing manners with numerous friends. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Bergom, residing on Fourth Ave. E. He is employed as an engineer at the C. G. W. Power house. The family came here some years ago from North Daota. Air. Bergom is a young man of good standing and mutual friends extend congratulations and best wishes.
