We’ve got more landscaping than the Plano Wal-Mart has, They are committed to providing what we wanted,” he said.According to a Wal-Mart representative, JIOQQ applicants from around the Best Southwest and beyond applied for positions with 465 peo-ple hired.The supercenter, located at 951 W. Belt Line Road, celebrated a grand opening June 14 with a special Flag Day program.Representatives from the US. Army presented the store with a US. flag flown over the US. Embassy in Iraq. Texas Gov. Rick Perry sent aTexas state flag that has flown over the state Capitol and Hurtt presented Wal-Mart with a Prisoner of War/Missing in Action flag to commemorate service people captured or missing while serving the, U.S. The flags will be on display for DeSoto residents and visitors to view.A 24-hour operation, the Wal-Mart Supercenter will include a tire and lube express, pharmacy with drive-thru window, vision center, garden center, a nail salon and other retail stores located inside of the facility.Food, clothes and expanded home decor departments will be features of the Supercenter as well.During the celebration, Wal-Mart presented Operation Helmet representatives with a specialfOfk-in-pEfrlonauon oiyiding combat soldiers a free safety enhancement for their helmets.
